Jokester began sneaking into the castle in the middle of the night and leaving jokes all over the place: under the king's pillow, in his soup, even in the royal toilet. The king was furious, but he couldn't seem to catch the jester responsible. The jokes were terrible, too:
Why did the scarecrow win an award? Because he was outstanding in his field! What did the grape say when it got stepped on? Nothing, it just let out a little wine! Why don't eggs tell jokes? They'd crack up!
The king offered a reward for the capture of the joke perpetrator, but the jester was too clever. He left one final joke that read: What did the king say to the jester? Nothing, he couldn't catch him!
